Look at me...

I have had so many people asking me to update the blog so here it is. Tressa loves to stay up all day so it is hard to find moments to get it done, but of course I am happy to share pictures of our gorgeous girl!

We are off to Kenora this weekend for Tressa`s first wedding and hotel stay...it should be interesting!

Tressa is changing so much, her little personality is really starting to develop. She is usually full of lots of smiles but her temper is fierce! Ryan and I are still wondering where on earth that came from. As this picture shows she has recently discovered how much fun it is to stick out her tounge. She is a doll and we are having lots of fun with her!

Happy Birthday Mom!

This weekend was full of birthdays and family visits. I turned 31 on Friday and Ryan wanted to take Tressa and I out for lunch to celebrate. It was Tressa`s first restaurant visit and she did pretty well. The birthday lunch was at Montana`s not really our first choice but with a fussy baby, options are limited. My how things change!!

I'm 2 Months Old!!

We've had a big week, as Tressa turns 2 months and we celebrated our anniversary. Grandma Quinn babysat so we could have a night out - our second without baby, boy how things change! These are some of Tressa's portraits, hope you like them, we think she looks pretty adorable!

This was a big week in the Matthews' household. Tressa had her first portraits and her first needles. Both experiences were a little rocky. After a lot of crying we got some amazing pictures that I hope to be able to post as soon as I figure out how. There were a few screams at the doctor's office from Tressa while I covered my eyes, but she was a trooper. She has a bruise on each chubby thigh - her war wounds. She is almost 11 pounds now and getting more gorgeous every day!

Tressa is 7 weeks old and we wonder where the time has gone. She is getting so big she doesn't look like a newborn anymore! Sometimes I feel sad that she is growing so fast, but then she does something new like laugh or coo and we just go crazy!

Today Tressa's auntie buzzed her hair for cancer. She is a teacher at Oakpark school and participated in their fundraiser. Last year the school raised $9000 for Cancercare Manitoba and this year hopes to double that amount. Beckey herself collected donations and the students raised a pile of money to convince her to shave her head. It was tramatic for Tressa and I to watch, but we both think she looks pretty good. You're a brave girl Beckey...we're proud of you!
