Merry Christmas

Tressa is 9 months old and has had her first Christmas. It was very busy but a lot of fun. We went to church on Christmas Eve and then had a family dinner at the Quinn's. It was early to bed so we could wake up and open gifts. Now Ryan and I know why our parents still spoil us at Christmas, it is so much fun to give gifts to your children!! Tressa loved her toys and clothes, especially her table top and housecoat from her grandparents.

We had Christmas dinner at Liz and Kas' place and Boxing Day at Nancy's. I took many shots with my new camera however Tressa was so distracted with all her new toys that she is not looking in many of them! Merry Christmas to all!!

Remember Me?

Wow where has the time gone? My goal has been to post once a month and even that has been hard! My camera is broken and I am hoping Santa will bring me a new one so there will be many more pictures to come!
Tressa is 8 months old and so much fun. We are so busy playing that I don't have as much time as I used to for things like cleaning and cooking!
We are very excited about Christmas, and I know that Santa will spoil our girl this year!

Look out Santa!!!!

What on earth am I wearing!!?! Stripes and flowers DO NOT GO!!

Tressa`s Baptism

I have been really bad keeping this blog up to date. So Tressa`s baptism is a good place to start catching up. Tressa was feeling under the weather, but was so good. It was like she was really listening to everything that was being said. After the service, we had a great time with our family at Liz and Kass`place. It really was a great weekend.

6 Months Old

Tressa turned 6 months last Saturday, it has been a great 6 months! I hope the next 6 don't pass as quickly.
Tressa loves her yoga and especially swimming. Her teeth...or gums were chattering but she still had the biggest smile on her face. She was exhausted when we got home.
At her 6 month appointment her doctor said no more night feedings so we are letting her sleep(?) through the night. It is an adjustment for all but they tell me it will be worth it.
Tressa is sitting with confidence now and is happy as can be!

Love the outfit...excuse the spit-up

I'm sitting!

What am I doing in here?

Swimming is hard work.

Finally...More pictures of me!

She's back and cute as ever - am I bragging?? It is a good thing she is so cute becuase she is keeping me up all night. I thought we turned a corner when she was sleeping from 10 until 5 am, but she was just teasing!! We are still getting up at 3 and 5...

Tressa is a pretty happy girl though, she is sitting up (sort of) and teething (we think). This week she starts swimming and yoga. Hopefully I'll have some pictures of that to share.

First food...sweet potato

"I like it!"

Back to School

Ryan, Tressa and I had another fun week, wih a few firsts. Tessa has graduated to the highchair - she's still a little small in there but she'll grow into it! She also experienced her first Goldeyes game. She was great, her eyes were as big as saucers, taking it all in. Mom and Dad have also been busy. Although September did not mean back to work for me, it does mean back to school as I continue on with my masters program. Ryan is hard at work and busy commuting to Portage each day, and of course, every day is an adventure with Tressa!

Love the Goldeyes!

I have the nicest hand-me-downs!!

Happy Labour Day Weekend

What a week we have had. Ryan and I attended a wedding in the city while Grandma Sherritt babysat, then it was off to St. Ambroise for Tressa`s first camping adventure with the Quinn, Pettinger, Guy, Shindle, and Chapallaz Families. She loved it!! The fresh air was great and the waves put her to sleep. Next year we are going to have to spend the night. It was back to reality when we got home. As you can see, Ryan had to tend to his chores...with a little help from Tressa.
