Soccer

Well soccer was a hit even if Tressa pulled herself because she was tired, faked a bathroom emergency, and wanted to play on the playground equipment while the game was still going! 

Blackberries, Birthdays, and a Baptism

Isla started out unable to eat even baby food, but look at her now! Blackberries are a favourite and she will chow down on anything that we give her!

Tressa turned 4 on March 29th and she is pretty proud! It was a Hello Kitty party and her first friend party. The girls had a dance party and did a craft and colouring. Everyone had a lot of fun!

Isla is ONE! We can't believe it! We had a Hawaiian luau and Isla was spoiled as all one year olds should be!

We finally had Isla baptized. Here she is looking adorable in the same baptismal outfit that Tressa wore. Thanks Erin for letting us use it. Isla is with her god parents Cam and Ann-lyn.

Tressa had an exhausting day at Toopy and Binoo. She had to take her souvenir to bed with her.

Where is Isla?

I know, I am caught in the trap of not doing the same thing for the second! I updated monthly for Tressa and poor Isla...neglected We have had some milestones. She has been baptized and is 1!

Happy Halloween

A lot has happened since our last post. We have enjoyed the last beautiful days of an extended summer, headed to Las Vegas for Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jim's wedding, and had a lot of Halloween fun. Tressa is still dancing and has started skating lessons with Daddy, and had her first bowling game. Lots of fun in the Matthews' Home!

What?? I'm 6 months old?!

It is hard to believe that summer is over and we have had to break out the toque! While it is sad to see summer go, Isla had a great first one. She was in Whistler, Fargo, been to the park, lots of swimming, the campground, and has been dragged all over the city, including to Tressa's first dance class. Not to mention, the mastering of solid foods and the jolly jumper! Now that fall is arriving it is time to put the pool away and get ready for some football!

Isla is growing like crazy and is over 16 pounds! She is still very happy but has stopped sleeping through the night :(
